The Xikar Xi3 cigar cutter features a sleek and ergonomic design. The blades are hardened to a Rockwell C rating of 55; making it the hardest, sharpest blade in a cutter that you can buy. The stainless steel blades of the Xi3 flare out dramatically at the push of a button; allowing the smoker to open, snip a cigar with up to a 58 ring gauge, and close in a few swift movements. 

This particular Xikar Xi3 cutter is a unique piece of art made by artist Rick Hutchings. The Tiger Coral material is a stabilized sponge coral with a creamy base color and black or brown exotic stripes. It has natural beige and black sections, reminiscent of the sections in bamboo plants or tiger pattern. The coral pieces used to make these cutters are found on the ocean floor, broken off from the surf and storm surge. They are collected using sound practices and techniques, and are no longer part of a living coral reef.
